Bioeconomy
The growing global population is facing ecological challenges such as climate change, dwindling agricultural land, and fossil resources running short. The "Bioeconomy" exhibition made it possible to experience the solutions that research is already providing to these issues. It showed how new technologies and processes can help to produce, process and consume raw materials and products more sustainably. The exhibition also addressed political and social issues of sustainable economic activity, which arise in a global context.
