How free are our decisions? Are there moral machines? What about academic freedom? And what do two giraffes have to do with the Basic Law? Researchers have turned their work on these and other questions into exhibits. From the concept of freedom in the Middle Ages to artificial intelligence, from dealing with climate change to driving simulators, from book printing to fake news: around 30 interactive exhibits invited visitors to explore current research projects, share their own ideas about freedom and engage with some of the many facets of freedom.
